My teaching approach is built first on understanding students' needs, both musically and in terms of capability; it is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and I endeavour to ensure a comprehensive and student-focused learning experience. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, whether mastering fundamentals, refining technique or both. A balance of theory and practical application helps students not only play but truly understand music.
Emphasizing creativity and expression, I incorporate ear training, rhythm exercises, and composition techniques to develop well-rounded musicianship. Problem-solving is central to my approach, breaking down challenges into manageable steps and encouraging critical thinking in learning and performance. My goal is to inspire confidence, passion, and lifelong growth in every student.
